Privacy notice

Because we care about protecting your personal data, this notice explains how and why we process it, the legal bases, recipients, retention periods and your rights.

1. Controller

We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on personal data protection.

2. Personal data we process

Ordinary personal data

We mainly process identification, contact, contractual, transactional, billing and communication data provided in person, by email, through the website or lawfully obtained from other sources.

Special categories of data

We process special-category data only when voluntarily provided, supported by an appropriate legal basis and strictly necessary for the purpose.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Entering into and performing a contract

We process contact, identification, project and transactional data to prepare offers and enter into and perform service contracts. Required data is necessary for the contract. Afterwards, records are retained under legal, accounting and tax periods, generally ten years.

Accounting and contractual records

We process data of clients, business partners, suppliers and their representatives to fulfil contractual and legal obligations, particularly accounting and tax requirements.

Marketing and newsletters

We may use contact data for professional updates, offers, invitations or satisfaction surveys based on consent or legitimate interest for existing and former clients within applicable law. You may withdraw consent or object to direct marketing at any time. Legitimate-interest marketing data is retained for no more than five years.

Legal claims

Based on legitimate interest, we may process data necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, generally for no longer than four years after the contractual relationship unless a specific reason requires longer retention.

Communication, correspondence and assistance

Based on legitimate interest, we process contact data to answer questions, establish professional contact and record correspondence, only as necessary and for no longer than five years.

GDPR requests

We process data to meet obligations under Articles 12–21, 33 and 34 GDPR. Requests, responses and related records are retained for up to five years for legal compliance and defence of claims.

Recruitment

CV and application data is processed for pre-contractual recruitment steps. Unsuccessful applicants’ data is deleted after recruitment unless another legal basis or consent for a candidate database applies.

4. Data recipients

Before disclosing data, we assess whether the recipient is entitled to receive it and to what extent.

• IT, hosting, email and external storage providers;
• accountants, tax advisers, auditors, banks and financial institutions;
• legal advisers, debt-recovery providers and translators;
• marketing providers only within the law and granted consent;
• cooperating experts, architects, designers and subcontractors needed to deliver the service;
• courts, law-enforcement, tax, supervisory or other public authorities where required by law.

5. Retention, automation and transfers

We retain data only for the relevant purpose or statutory period. We do not use personal data for automated individual decision-making or profiling. Transfers outside the EU/EEA are not intended; if required, safeguards under GDPR Articles 44–49 will apply.

6. Your rights

• right of access and a free first copy;
• right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• right to erasure where GDPR conditions are met;
• right to restriction of processing;
• right to portability of automated data based on consent or contract;
• right to object to legitimate-interest processing and at any time to direct marketing;
• right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing;
• right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Contact us at info@audico.sk, +421 948 909 048 or in writing at our registered office. We will respond without undue delay and within one month. For complex or numerous requests, the period may be extended by two further months, with notice.

7. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice in response to legal, technical or business developments. For material changes we will take appropriate steps to inform data subjects. Last updated: 12 July 2026.
